I discovered The Hundred in the Hands a few months ago and I've been gripped ever since. There's something incredibly powerful about this band, a two-piece out of New York, whose determined percussion and guitar layers are the background to the singer, Eleanor's beautiful voice. I use the word beautiful without hesitation because at times it is simply breathtaking.
If you've never heard of The Hundred in the Hands I highly recommend their EP This Desert and album The Hundred in the Hands. Also check out their website, or 'zine', for articles and interviews with other artists and musicians - there's some great stuff on there.
Anyway, latest news is that Eleanor and Jason are back in the studio so we have a new record to look forward to.
Here are a few videos to keep you going until then.
